Prof. S S Shivakumara obtained his BVSc degree from the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, MSc degree from the University of London, and PhD degree from Virginia Tech. He did post-doctoral work at the University of Kansas and the Los Alamos National Laboratory.
