This position offers a unique opportunity to participate in research in the area of Structural Biology. The project involves recombinant protein expression, purification, crystallization and X-ray data collection of macromolecules with a wide scope of exposure to structural bioinformatics studies such as molecular modelling, molecular dynamics simulations etc. Molecular biology techniques (such as PCR, cloning) and biochemical techniques (such as characterizing protein-metal ion/ligand/DNA interactions) will also be part of conducting this research.
The research is funded by the Institute of Bioinformatics and Applied Biotechnology. Remunerations will be based on qualifications and experience. CSIR/UGC NET, GATE, DBT-BINC eligibility will be an added advantage.
