In a hallowed hall of IISc, Dr. Eric Green (perhaps a tad overdressed for
the warm winter of Bangalore) kick-started a series of lectures on the
"Frontiers of Science" organised by the Indian Academy of Sciences.
Over the course of an hour, he shed light on both the history, and the
future impact of genomics on society, in a non-technical and easy-flowing manner. Dr. Green's enthusiasm would have surely infected every receptive member in the audience.
